Crisis Group (TAMK)

TAMK’s Crisis Group:

• Gives the mental first-aid in traumatic events for the students
• Organizes and offers follow-up-treatment authorized by the principal of TAMK (such as debriefing & defusing meetings)
• Directs the students who need more support to the follow-up services needed.
• Observes the general athmosphere of the staff and the student communities, trying to foresee signals that may need early intervention, and providing such information to the TAMK management

In most of the cases the Crisis Group work is related to accidents, physical violence, death in TAMK community, or persons who have faced some near-to-death experiences. Witnesses of a traumatic event might also need support.
